Agha Bozorg Mosque

The mosque and school of Agha Bozorg is a Ghajar structure and are among the prominent works related to that period.

This mosque and school, which is currently used as a seminary for students, was built on several floors due to the small size of the land.

One of the attractive features of the architecture of the Agha Bozorg Mosque is the construction of the dome on 8 huge columns that bring cool air in all seasons.

The cellar in this building is accessed by two horizontal and vertical ventilators to two windcatchers in two parts of the nave, and the nave is thus ventilated and cooled.

The plaster decorations, paintings, muqarnas, and tiles of this mosque are very beautiful and wonderful.
