* Only the authorized agencies can apply for Iran Tourist Visa. all nationalities can apply for Iran Tourist Visa except Israeli passport holders.
* In general, the maximum validity of traveler’s stay with a tourist visa is 30 days and they are regarded as a single entry. To stay longer than 30 days, the visa should be extended in Iran (maximum 60 days more).
* To apply for all types of visas, your passport should have at least 6 months of validity, beyond your actual travel date.
Iran airport visa also called Iran visa on arrival, is a tourist visa that allows you to apply for and receive your Iran tourist visa when you show up at one of the Iranian international airports.

*Having the confirmation form from the electronic visa system is necessary, which is sent to the applicant’s email after agreeing to issue the visa.
*Due to the fact that foreign bank cards are not used in the country, travelers need cash in one of the foreign currencies: preferably Euros to pay for visa fees.
Citizens of 9 countries CAN NOT get a visa on arrival they need to apply for and receive authorization code through an authorized agency or at the Iranian embassy/consulate in their native country.
Pakistan, Afghanistan, Somalia, Bangladesh, Jordan, Colombia, Canada, UK, and US.
It is safer to apply before your travel to Iran via the valid agencies to get the authorization code and the visa collection place which can be an embassy or one of the International Airports in Iran which makes the time procedures easier, shorter and safer.
Sometimes airport offices paperwork to process your visa can take about 4 hours or even more if there is a large group waiting or during high season.

Armenia, Turkey, Republic of Azerbaijan, Georgia.
Bolivia, Syria, Lebanon, Venezuela, Egypt, and Malaysia.
Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait and Lebanon, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Belarus.
Tunisia, Tanzania, Mauritania, Zimbabwe, Mauritius, Seychelles.
Citizens of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Russia do not need Iran tourist visa if they travel as a group.
Citizens of India if they enter from the air border.
At the moment all passport holders from the USA, Canada, and the UK are subject to particular regulations.
(Ministry of Foreign Affairs) does not allow US, UK and Canadian passport holders to travel to Iran independently, they must be accompanied by a confirmed official tour guide during their travels in Iran, no matter as part of a tour group, or on a custom-tailor-made individual tour.
To extend your Visa you need to go to the nearest Police Department of Alien Affairs. We suggest you plan your visit a few days before your existing visa is due to expire.
